To totally enjoy this game, you definitely gotta have "rumble" on the sixaxis pad or for the best effects wait for the newly developed "force-feedback" steering.
I'd be waiting for this upgraded peripherals before getting this truly awesome and legendary ( this includes the "real" GranTurismo 5 ) game.

To tell you the truth backwards compatibility is the worst conspiracy ever to be put upon any gaming console... It's totally backwards thinking and not needed.

This is one of the biggest reason why the PS3 could'nt get it's act together, it's because a lot of gamers' are pushing Sony to still advertise the PS2 with this old-tech.

Still waiting for a ( proper ) pricedrop on the PS3 console around here... Seems Sony could'nt care less around this part of the globe. The bundle deal that they have over here is not even worth buying for the amount of money they're charging us Aussies. Just way too much I reckon.

Those concept cars are a great addition! This will be the biggest - benchmark game that will push the PS3 to new heights.

This is a great idea and will give credit that playing console games can also be good for your physical well-being.
PGR4 will be bought by racing/gamefans out there because they know the quality of work Bizzare Creations has put thru to produce this title.
And for the Forza series being a better/suitable alternative to GranTurismo or any of the PGR series is quite wrong.
You cannot even consider Forza/Forza2 as being a "true" sim-game. The physics is still not believable ( sense of realism faded w/out in-car camera - too much tweaking/modding going on, most of the time racing/pl...
Sony has been saying this for quite awhile now and posting it on a lot of gaming websites that if you buy GranTurismo 5: Prologue in Blu-Ray dvd format - it will have { YES } damage-mode, buy it of the web and play on-line - there will be { NO } damage-mode.
The "real" GranTurismo 5 will have it ( damage-mode ) for sure - possibly more improved.
Everyone has to remember this is only a { Prologue - "an introduction" ) to the actual GranTurismo 5......
Rumble works that's why. Hope Sony can double their efforts in bringing this-out sooner.
I really, really hate saying this - but the Murdoch Empire? - he almost owns everything now, got squillions to spend on anything has Fox Network, owns the most prestigious newspaper company, has a big share on the stock markets.
But... the console and the games would definitely be biased.
I know that "rumble" on the sixaxis is coming back, but is it going to be { game-specific? } - meaning that it would only rumble on certain types of titles?

In a way it could also be a blessing in disguise
for them to move-on and venture into new directions.

If you're planning to download GT5: Prologue on the 'net and get to play it on-line ( which probably the video preview shown here ) there will be ( NO ) damage-mode.
It's no Panzer Dragoon Orta, a ( must-rent only ) game.
